Dough On Counter

Pizza

MAKE YOUR OWN NONNINA’S PIZZA

Before You Begin

Remove the dough from the refrigerator 1½ to 2 hours before baking. Keep it covered while it comes to room temperature. This will make the dough easier to stretch.

With a Pizza Stone or Steel

  1. Place the stone or steel on the center rack.

  2. Preheat the oven to 500°F.

  3. Lightly flour your hands and work surface.

  4. Gently stretch the dough into a round. Avoid using a rolling pin so the crust stays light and airy.

  5. Add Nonnina’s pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Avoid overloading the pizza.

  6. Bake for 7–10 minutes, rotating if needed, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

With a Pizza Pan or Baking Sheet

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F.

  2. Lightly flour a pizza pan or baking sheet.

  3. Gently stretch the dough and place it on the prepared pan.

  4. Add Nonnina’s pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings.

  5. Bake for 10–14 minutes, rotating halfway through, until the bottom is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Allow the pizza to rest for 2 minutes before slicing.

Home ovens vary, so keep a close eye on your pizza during the last few minutes of baking.

BUON APPETITO!

Pasta

HOW TO COOK NONNINA’S FRESH PASTA

  1. Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a rolling boil.

  2. Gently separate the pasta before placing it in the water.

  3. Add the pasta and stir carefully to prevent sticking.

  4. Cook for approximately 2–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Taste for doneness. Fresh pasta should be tender but still slightly firm.

  6. Reserve a small amount of pasta water, then drain. (If using a Nonnina's Pasta Sauce)

  7. Toss immediately with your heated Nonnina’s sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

For the best texture, do not rinse the pasta.

Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the pasta shape and your preferred texture.

Sauces

HOW TO REHEAT NONNINA’S PASTA SAUCES

TOMATO AND MEAT SAUCES

Before draining your pasta, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water.

Stovetop — Recommended

Pour the sauce into a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally. Add reserved pasta water 1–2 tablespoons at a time until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

Continue heating until the sauce reaches 165°F. Add the drained pasta directly to the saucepan and toss until evenly coated.

CREAM-BASED SAUCES

Pour the sauce into a saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring frequently. Add milk 1–2 tablespoons at a time until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.

Continue heating until the sauce reaches 165°F. Add the drained pasta directly to the saucepan and toss until evenly coated.

Avoid high heat, which may cause the sauce to separate.

Keep sauces refrigerated and use within 5 days of pickup or delivery.

Sauces may also be frozen for up to 1 month. Place the frozen sauce in the refrigerator to thaw completely before reheating. Do not thaw at room temperature.

For the best quality, only reheat the amount you plan to enjoy.
